Most of our traffic lands on today's beach conditions, the live beach cam, and the place pages people check before they pick a restaurant. How advertising works here
- Display ads — standard, clearly-marked ad units served through Google, kept off the live flag and score so the useful part of the page always loads first.
- Live cam sponsorship — a single sponsor line on the live beach cam, the most-watched page on the site. One sponsor at a time, plainly labeled.
- Featured place and event placements — a highlighted listing on the area and category pages, marked Featured, never disguised as a recommendation.
- Sponsored Drift posts — written in the site's voice, labeled Sponsored at the top, and subject to the same no-nonsense rules as everything else we publish.
What we will not do
We do not sell reviews, rankings, or positive coverage. A paid placement gets you visibility, not a better write-up — the write-up is whatever an honest local would tell a friend. We do not run pop-ups, interstitials, or anything that covers the beach flag. And nothing on this site is ever quietly paid for; every commercial relationship is spelled out on the advertising disclosure page.
