The main strip on the Florida side is mostly mid-size beachfront condos and it delivers exactly what Perdido Key is known for: calm, sand at your door, and easy access to the state park and Flora-Bama. Restaurants are spread out and you'll drive to most things, but that's the tradeoff for peace and quiet. This is the classic choice.

The important caveat: it sits on the Intracoastal, not the Gulf, so you'll drive 10–15 minutes to the beach. Good base for entertainment, not for beachfront.
