When to go
Mornings, almost always. The Gulf and the back bays are calmest before the afternoon sea breeze kicks up chop, the sun is easier, and you are back on the beach by lunch. Check the Orange Beach flags before you go — a red-flag day is a bad day to be a first-timer on a jet ski, and operators may not run at all.
