Perdido Artist Gallery & Gifts sits on Segura Drive off the Sorrento corridor, and it works the way a gallery should down here: as a co-op. More than 60 local artists stock it — pottery, painting, glass, jewelry, fabric, mixed media — so the money goes to the person who made the thing, not a wholesaler shipping “coastal decor” from a warehouse.
What you’ll find
Actual range. Because it’s 60-plus makers under one roof, the inventory doesn’t blur into one style — you’ll pass hand-thrown pottery, fused glass, and jewelry from different hands within a few feet. They picked up a Best of Florida 2025 award, which is decent validation for a co-op on a side street.
The classes
This is the part we send people to. They teach stained glass (a butterfly spinner project), fused glass in rotating themes — waves, stars and shells, holiday ornaments — and glass resin work. Making your own souvenir beats buying one, and a glass class is a legitimately good rainy-day or too-sunburned-for-the-beach plan.
Good to know
Open seven days: Monday through Saturday 9 to 6, Sunday noon to 5. Gift shopping here means going home with something that was made a few miles from where you bought it.
