The fleet
Cruisers for the flat, easy riding the Key was built for, plus electric bikes and electric scooters for the days when the heat argues against pedaling. The conversation piece is the water bike — a bike you pedal across the water — and they’ve added Polaris Slingshots for the people who want three wheels and a windshield instead. Options run across ages, so the kids can be outfitted alongside the adults. Rentals run by the hour, day, or week, extensions are easy, and they take same-day reservations in-store or by phone.
Why locals care
The Key is one of the easier cycling spots on the coast — flat, compact, with the state park and Johnson Beach both in comfortable range — and for years there was no obvious local place to get a bike.
