Hub Stacey’s at the Point has a deck on the bay and a clientele that has been coming here since before the Pensacola Beach Bridge had four lanes. Across the way, Pirate’s Cove is the boat-up bar with the goats — actual goats, on a small island, that you can wave at from your stool. Tuesday night karaoke at Hub Stacey’s is either the highlight or low point of the week depending on the lineup.
For visitors: yes, you can drive here from the Key, but the smart play is to come by boat. There’s a long line of houses with their own docks and the bay is shallow enough that you can run a center console up to almost any of them. For renters without a boat, just drive — it’s twenty minutes from the Drive, twenty back, and you get a different version of Perdido while you’re at it.
The Innerarity sunsets in summer beat the Gulf-side sunsets, full stop. The geometry is just better. We’ll fight you on it.
