Hudson Marina is the Terry Cove operation built around a simple pitch: one dock, most of your water day. It’s a family stop where the rental fleet — pontoons from 17 to 30 feet carrying up to twelve people, plus jet skis — shares the property with two dolphin-tour boats, the Grey Ghost and the Delfino, and a snorkel-and-dolphin combo trip for people who want in the water, not just on it. You get there off Highway 161 via Canal Road, in the Perdido Pass marina district, a few minutes from the state line.
What’s on the dock
More than the rentals. The same marina is home base for a set of larger fishing boats — America II, Sea Pearl, the C.A.T., and the 85-foot Explorer, the big-group option — plus the American Star, a 65-foot pirate ship for the under-ten crowd, and the Screaming Eagle jet boat for anyone who wants to get wet fast. It’s less a marina than a menu.
Why locals care
Location. You’re minutes from Robinson Island, the sandbar island everybody with a pontoon ends up circling anyway, so you spend your rental hours anchored and swimming instead of motoring there and back. Their own tagline is “your one stop shop for affordable family fun,” which is marketing, but it’s not wrong.
Good to know
Avenue Pub — the Tuscaloosa gastropub’s coastal outpost, and a legitimately good scratch kitchen — sits right at this marina, deck on the water, dogs welcome. That turns a boat rental into a full day: cove, island, dolphins, then dinner without leaving the property. There are restrooms at the store and a dock office where you book.
